Probably there is also a lens hood with cap at that size besides, if there is a filter, the lens cap isn't as important as without it. Thank you very much, Ian! As always your advice is most useful: I'll consider also the 72mm option. (*The +0.4D lens reduces the closest focus distance of the P900 at max zoom to about 2m, as I posted earlier here. This link here is for removing haze using Lightroom, but I’ve found that my rather old version of PSE can be used quite well too. Regarding a haze filter, I have found that just using post processing can remove haze quite well, without the need for using a filter on the camera. The other point is that it still seemed possible to fit the Nikon P900 lens cap with the other lens/step ring still on the camera. I think the same might apply to using 72mm lens hood, and/or a 72mm UV (or protection) filter with a 67-72mm step-up ring on the P900. The 72mm lens with a 67 to 72mm step-up ring when attached to my P900 gave no vignetting at max WA. Augustin, what I found when I was testing my 72mm Tokina* lens might be of interest in this context.
